Friday. Arrival Day.
Teams are encouraged to fly into Santiago.
Day Two. Saturday. Campus Project. Culture Collision.
Teams will work at Doulos in light construction/maintenance during the day.
Teams will head in to town for a cultural adventure.
Day Three. Sunday. Church. Building Background Knowledge.
Teams will experience a local church service in the morning.
Teams will begin their expedition with a Building Background Knowledge in the afternoon.
Day Four. Monday. Expert Interviews. Field Work. Family Dinners.
Teams will meet experts in their topic and visit sites related to their topic.
Teams will divide into small groups and eat dinner in homes of Doulos students.
Day Five. Tuesday. Service Project.
Teams will serve alongside Doulos students in a project that relates to their topic.
Day Six. Wednesday. Expedition Product. Staff Dinners.
Teams will spend the day creating a product that will allow them to share their experience with their community back home.
Teams will eat dinner with members of the Doulos staff.
Day Seven. Thursday. Adventure. Trip Debrief.
Teams have a choice in how they spend their adventure day: Hiking, Raftin g, Beach…Options and prices are available from the Service Learning Coordinator
