ISAIAH 58.10
If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the
afflicted then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.
MATTHEW 25.40 Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,
you did to me.
EQUIP. In this fallen world it is the poor that are most profoundly affected by the
brokenness of humanity. Christ calls his followers to care for the poor and to bring the
light of God into the world. For this reason, Doulos is committed to raising up servant
leaders that are equipped and educated to bring healing to the problems that affect the
poor.
DISCIPLE. Through learning more of God’s story and his hope for humanity we are able
to carry that hope into the world.
IMPACT. The desired end to equipping is impact, Kingdom impact. It is our hope,
through the work of Service Learning Teams, to continue in our mission to equip and
educate servant leaders.
FOCUS: RELATIONSHIPS. SERVICE. EDUCATION.
RELATIONSHIPS. An exchange of blessing takes place as different cultures come
together and share in the pursuit of the Kingdom of Heaven.
