Expedition Night Shout Outs

 So the morning after Expedition Night we formed a huge circle following our flag ceremony so that our students and staff could give some shout outs in reference to each other’s projects and presentations the night before. We thought we’d share a few of them.
(To 9th grade) “That was amazing how they were speaking and really knowing about their topic of Hip Hop.” -Josue, HS Senior
 (To 9th grade) ”I was amazed at how they presented in both English and Spanish.” -Rogelio, HS Senior
(To 2nd grade) ”They knew all the information about their animal and their specific habitat.” -Erin Pace, former Art Teacher
(To 10th grade) ”Los quesos estaban riquisimos.” -Daniela HS Senior
 (To Kinder) “They worked together like a well-oiled machine.” -Abby HS Math and Science Teacher
“I want to give a shout out to Kerry (Art Teacher) because she helped with the costumes and with all of the expeditions.” -Melissa 2nd Grade Student
(To 5th grade’s Wax Museum project) “You guys stood firm” -Jyll, Special Education Teacher
 (To 8th grade) “A huge shout out to the 8th grade for their beautiful project (freshwater ecosystem informational sign) in the garden.” -Krista, Executive Director and Doulos Parent
“A shout out to Daniel Gutierrez and Patricio for running around like crazy to get resources.” -Sara Espinoza, Instructional Coach and Doulos Parent
“A shout out to the 4th grade because I was really impressed with all they did with the Incas and it was cool to see them work as a body and as a team” -Whitney, MS English Teacher
 “The spirit of creativity was alive.” -Josh a work team member
“I want to give thanks to Ms. Leah for helping us.” -Daniel, 3rd grade Student
“Shout out to Mrs. Abby for helping with all the food.”
“6th graders knew all of their stuff in Spanish and in English and the 9th graders pulled out an awesome timeline on Hip Hop.” -Rachel Davis, MS Geography Teacher
“Thanks to Mr. P (Mr. Patrick) for having so much patience with us” -Sugeiry, HS Sophomore
We’d like to give a huge shout out to the whole school for a great night of presentations and for a lot of weeks of work prior. We’d also like to give a special shout out to Mosaic from Ohio for being around to help fill in and serve wherever needed leading up to the night!
